Editorial

Editorial standards

The Peaceful Yoga Path editorial team writes and reviews the pages on this site. We do not name an individual credential, a medical license, or a teacher certification, because we are not inventing one. A byline that says the editorial team means this group, not a guest author.

What a page is allowed to say

Pose and routine pages describe shapes, timing, and ordinary reasons people practice. They may say a practice may help with stiffness, stress, or winding down. They do not say a pose cures or treats a condition. Back pain, pregnancy, and injury pages tell you to consult a doctor. The medical disclaimer is linked from pose, routine, breathing, and article pages.

Sources policy

When a page mentions research or a historical date, it names the source we actually used. Clinic explainers and the National Center for Complementary and Integrative Health are the usual health citations. History pages cite books and public pages we could open, and they label a date disputed when scholars do not agree. We do not invent quotations, statistics, star ratings, or reviews. If a source page cannot be opened, we do not pretend we read it. A publisher’s description of a product is attributed to that publisher.

Pages that carry a byline show a last-updated date. The library date for this revision is September 28, 2026.

Corrections

If a sentence is wrong, write to hello@peacefulyogapath.com or use the contact form and name the page. We would rather correct a date than smooth it over.

Ads and affiliate links

Advertisement slots are labeled and kept out of the routine player, the breathing timer, and the shop buttons. Affiliate links are disclosed above the first Amazon link on the page and in the footer. We do not ask anyone to click an ad.
